Jackson W. Herring Sr. was a working musician and a DJ on WDVH during the mid-1950's. This is the earliest photo we've found so far from WDVH's history (thanks to Michael Herring). That Gates mixing console and Altec microphone were still in use in the 60's and early 70's at the station.
